From local writer and Portland artist erin rachel (unbound: a bookish musical) comes a two-part immersive theatrical and auditory experience:
Part I: un/seen
un/seen is a narrative experiment, blending storytelling and cinematic soundscapes. The story follows three generations in the wake of a fictional pandemic and weaves invisible threads of kindred spirits that guide us home. Each performance will be unique, inviting the audience to consider the possibilities that become clear when we begin to perceive the magic in the everyday. This is a story about endings and beginnings, but it’s really a story about life, what we see, and the choices we might make if we knew the time we have left.Part II: Sonic Sound Exploration
Following the narrative performance, you'll be immersed in a live Sonic Sound Exploration session, a dynamic soundscape blending ambient, natural, and electronic sounds. This auditory experience will invite you to explore the art of deep listening, reflection, and mindfulness, fostering a sense of connection and exploration through focused listening.
